The Vice Chancellor, Bayero University, Kano Prof. Muhammad Yahuza Bello has described an International investigative Journalist Anas Arameyaw Anas as a “Symbol of hope and integrity in African journalism”. The Vice Chancellor made the remarks in a workshop on the topic “Experience sharing in investigative journalism” organized by Faculty of Communication.
The VC who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Prof. Adamu Tanko added that “Anas has earned the reputation of a creditible bigger fact, human right activist, and investigative journalist of integrity. We are over joy that it has made the first time to visit our campus to motivate our staff and students”.

The convener of the workshop and Chairman MacArthur grant implementation committee, Professor Umaru Pate was reveal to INFOMEDIA that “the essence of the workshop was among other things to inspire young practicing journalists and students deepen their capacities in investigative journalism”.
