He expressed happiness that the process has begun very well and fully participated up to the level of the Congregational Parley.

Having been one of the proponents of the Congregational Parley right from inception, I am confident that the University community uses it to gauge the acceptability of all participating candidates,’’ said the letter.

According to the letter,‘’ I acknowledge that the Congregation meeting of August 5, 2020, has achieved that. I wholeheartedly accept the verdict that the University community has expressed its wishes, with very high acceptability rating for one of us.’’

‘’For this reason and in order to formally show my respect, I sincerely wish to discontinue my participation in the process.’’

’I wish to thank the Search Team for finding me worthy of the recognition and inviting me to participate. I equally thank the Congregation members for the democratic expression that I cherish and respect.’’
