FG Okays Reopening of Schools, Lifts Ban on Interstate Travel

INFOMEDIA – The Federal Government has approved reopening of schools nationwide in the next phase of the gradual easing of lockdown ordered to curtail further spread of COVID-19.

It has also lifted the ban placed on interstate travels with effect from July 1, provided such journeys are made outside curfew hours.

Mustapha, who is also the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, also said the government has approved the safe resumption of domestic flights in the country.

Also, speaking, the National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, Sani Aliyu, said all primary schools and daycare centres across the Federation would still remain closed.
