Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has inaugurated the construction of 85 kilometers of roads and a bridge valued at N21 billion. The infrastructure projects include a 70km road from Bridge Madobi to Madobi town, through Yako to Kafin Mai Yaki, and extending to Kiru, along with a 15km road and a 200m bridge from Madobi town to Kubarachi to Kura.

Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor’s spokesperson, stated that these projects aim to redefine Kano’s rural landscape and enhance the livelihoods of the local populace. The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by notable guests, including Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the National Leader and former NNPP presidential candidate.
Governor Yusuf assured that the projects would be completed within 18 to 24 months, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development and economic growth in the state.
