INFOMEDIA – A 27-year-old Kano State Polytechnic student of Computer Science, and an Abuja-based serial technopreneur, officially identified as Abdulrazaq Rogo has created a Mobile POS (point of service) System that handles sales, inventory, employee management and other customer dealings from anywhere in the world.

Rogo, in an interview with Daily Star Nigeria correspondent disclosed that the application ‘WPOS’ has an online store that enables customers to place an order from anywhere in the world.

Rogo, stated that: “WPOS was designed to handle almost everything that has to do with Retail Business, ranging from recording sales, managing customers, debt, finance, and employees.

“I am Abuja-based serial tech-entrepreneur who focuses on building startups and products that make running small businesses interesting and less stressful.”

He further mentioned that the WPOS would enable business owners to manage their business professionally.

“We plan to build a product that will allow every small business owner to manage his business professionally without breaking the bank.

“The first version of WPOS allows vendors to print professional receipts without electricity, using a wireless and rechargeable printer, and set up their online store in two minutes.

“The second version will allow vendors to manage their business professionally without internet connectivity. The data will be synchronized to the cloud whenever they are connected to the Internet.

“We believe that by empowering small businesses, which are the backbone of every country’s economy, we are contributing to the human quality living”, he added.
