Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement and Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has advised Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, to focus on human capital development and security. This advice was given during Governor Yusuf’s Sallah homage visit to Kwankwaso, accompanied by members of his cabinet.

Kwankwaso praised Governor Yusuf for his commendable performance during his first year in office, emphasizing the governor’s dedication to education and women empowerment initiatives, which align with the Kwankwasiyya philosophy. Kwankwaso highlighted the importance of empowering women, especially in rural areas, to enhance entrepreneurship.

He urged the governor to intensify efforts in security and development projects, assuring his continuous support and guidance. In response, Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude for Kwankwaso’s mentorship and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the principles of the Kwankwasiyya movement, aiming for sustained progress and development in Kano State.
