Malami: Founding Members Disown KCC Letter, More Kebbi Groups Rally Support to AGF

INFOMEDIA – The genuine founding fathers, Kebbi Concerned Citizens and other indigenous Youth Groups in the state have thrown their right and vehemently dissociates self from what they characterized as an embarassing letter demanding the suspension of Hon. Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar Malami SAN, written in the name of Kebbi Concerned Citizens relying on an unsubstantiated conjecture raised by one junk news medium Sahara Reporters, which is always trading their sources of news different from an established jounalistic ethics thus, became a Nigeria’s peddler of fake news and purveyor of lies, whom victimized a manifold of dignified Nigerians including the Nation’s Anti- Corruption crusader, the Hon. Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation.

In a press statement, Muhammed Nasir Karofi, one of the founding member of the five man board of Directors and pioneer Director General of Kebbi Concerned Citizens Initiative states that “as legal party and critical stakeholder of the organization, I have not been consulted and diligently confirmed from two other Directors, if they have been consulted or if there have been any mandate given to the signitory of the purported letter Mohammed Ibrahim, and they expressly denied being any privy to the letter or given mandate to the cloned signatory”

“The tradition before I relinguished the post of Director General is that for every correspondence of this importance it must be thoroughly discussed and agreed by the majority of Members and Directors. Consequently, the statement further described the letter as ill-infomed and urged members of the general public to disregard it”.

On the same vein, the Zuru Patriotic Forum expressed shocked over the cooked up, ill-advised and commercialized petition sent to the National Assembly by some so-called concerned citizens of Kebbi, whom they described in reality have not the slightest concern for Kebbi State in their hearts. This is contained in a similar press statement by the Chairman Zuru Patriotic Forum Sani Yusuf Tadi.

The statement further reads that “As a people and as a movement formed to ensure, contribution and propel the development of our Emirate, Zone, State and Nigeria, we are also warriors against our common enemy as a state and nation, CORRUPTION.

“We cant be a party to a handsomely sponsored and paid campaign of calumny against leaders just for political gains. Obviously, one of the factors militating against the progress and development of our state is the PULL HIM DOWN SYNDROME which has become a way of life of some youths in the hands of some politicians.

He said ” One would have been happy to be associated with the “game” played by the KCC if its intentions were genuine and independent. To put the records straight, the KCC has played itself carelessly into the hands of Sahara Reporters, a medium that has sworn to destroy whatever good image is left of the northern leaders and the North itself”.

He further called on he youths of Kebbi State to wake up and contribute to the development of the State instead of allowing themselves to be used in the transfer of the envy and bitterness of selfish politicians to themselves.

The Collision of Argungun Youth joined their patriotic counter part and expressed a shivering discomforting over what they described as political hatred against the person of Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami SAN.

They says ” Despite the widely spread facts behind Malami’s anti corruption stand, some fruitless elements whose lineage cannot even be traced within Birnin Kebbi of Kebbi State were been paid to blackmail and impugn the credibility of the Attorney General of the Federation in an apparent attempt to advance their ignoble and unpatriotic intentions”.

They called on all patriotic citizens to imbibe the spirit of love and be praying for our leaders that sacrificed their entire lives in service to humanity.
