INFOMEDIA – Though the legendary American Coach Vince Lombardi once said: “Leaders aren’t born, but made. They are made just like anything else, through hard work yet some psychologists has proved that, in the main, Leaders are naturally born. Whatever school of thought one subscribe to, we can say, to each her own. The humanity will always hold a varying view contrary to the above assertion and hold in higher premium to any person with a record of Spartan Discipline, incorruptible principles and unquestionable persoanae to the fault, who has always been at the frontier in extending goodness to humanity wether appointed to do so or not, just like in the replica of the New Sheriff of Ikara local gov’t area of Kaduna state, Mal. Muhammad Rili.
My first contact with the New Sheriff, Mal. Muhammad Rili was on 14 January at Mambayya House, Bayero University, Kano at an occasion of National Social Media Summit where he served as a guest speaker and intellectually enthuse and justified to the audience that for Nigeria’s political firmament to be on the right landscape, the youths must compliment digital political activism with conventional Politics and that they should philosophize and redefine their ego against the popular maxim of non-political participation due to the comatose state of the system in Nigeria.
The greatest impression on the audience faces, nodding in stylistic agreement and inspiration towards the New Sheriff’s presentation coupled with being exposed to his descent life achievement on different call of life made me drew a radical polical inferences that if the New Sheriff would be installed as a leader, the heaven will smile to his people.
Right from the first epoch of Local Gov’t administration that took place from 1946 in Nigeria with the core functions to build primary schools, adult education, public health, town planning, roads, transport and waste disposal among others, yet, it seems the very local government i.e the birth place of the intellectual effigy and template of global humanitarian face, Mal. Muhammad Rilli (The New Sheriff) has not been governed in accordance with the dictate of universally accepted style of good governance?

This time, Mal. Muhammad Rili or rather the New Sheriff will throw everything including the kitchen sink in rebuilding and fortifying the fractured Ikara Local Gov’t through re-engineering the society with education, health, employment, etc at the center of his priorities while resources will be put to order and champion a good governance driven by the general interest of the populace.
To this light, a collective action to rescue Ikara from it’s moribund state is imminent.
As the New Sheriff declares interest to contest for the seat of Ikara Chairmanship, most of the disillusioned voters in Ikara will be attracted to join the fold. This has lent no further credence to the fact that souls-winning is possible only in the absence of in-house rancour and a clear possible path that will ensure the surfacing of accord, and conformity for Ikarans particularly the youths to attends their full life potentials.
The chance has never been so cleared for the Ikarans until when the young progressive Politician who is well known for his resilience in fighting irregularities not only in his claime but far beyond his immediate environment of Kaduna state, is practically interested to govern his people in the right political call. A political call contrary to the present administration’s that was foisted on the people and has thus far demonstrated lack of capacity to lead the Ikarans to promised land.
Ikara local gov’t needed someone with executive experience, who was tested, trusted and whose track record can speak for him. Someone whose name can cover a battered image and whose reputation rings a bell not only in Ikara but across Kaduna state. And more importantly, emplacing a revered politician who will use his vast knowledge garnished with practical experience in changing the Ikara infrastructural narratives to better.
We are presenting to great Ikara people once again a New Sheriff, an individual with an intellectual prowess to lead Ikara to better light, Muhammad Rili is a second to none for the position of chairman of our great local gov’t. He has the temperament needed for the job especially in trying time of unemployment, power decadence, insecurity, bad roads etc. His outreached is the bigger plus.
