NAIMSS-BUK, PENLIGHT to Train Youth on Digital Entrepreneurship
INFOMEDIA – In its determination to quench the redundancy caused by Covid-19 pandemic and awakens youth entrepreneurial creativity, the National Association of Information and Media Studies Students (NAIMSS) in collaboration with PENLIGHT MEDIA LTD, proposes to organize a workshop titled “A One Day Sensitization Workshop on post-Covid-19 Global Digital Economic Trend: Opportunities, Challenges and the Best Practices”.
The Workshop with the Theme ” Youth and Sustainable Entrepreneurship in a Social Media-Driven Nigeria is scheduled to hold on Saturday 19-09-2020 at PRNigeria Centre, Kofar Fanfo Kano.

The President of the association Mr Rabiu Musa said “Being the pioneer students’ association of Information and Media Studies in the country, deems it to contribute by utilizing technology to bridge the gap created by the idleness Youth are experiencing through providing a forum to train them on how to key into the global digital trend of being initiative and productive”
He added that “the idea is conceived and borne out of NAIMSS’ desire to cushion the effect of Covid-19 on Youth as well as awaken their psyche of involuntarily idleness toward a sustainable means of earning income using the instrumentality of Social Media and its associated digital platforms.
The association targets to train 50 Youth after which certificate of attendance will be presented to all the participants.
