NGO Donates Anti-Malaria Drugs in Kano

In its resolve to empower the Kano health eco-system against malaria and save lives, the Leadership Enlightenment and Advocacy for Development Initiative (Kano-LEADS), donated anti-malaria and other essential drugs in the state.

The initiative, according to the organization was geared toward ensuring a malaria-free society and assisting needy people to have easy access to the health care system in Kano.

While presenting the items to one of the beneficiaries at the Dausayi clinic, in the Kano metropolis, Hajiya Aisha I. Dankani, the National President of the organization, said that the drugs will go a long way in tackling health challenges posed by Malaria disease.

The National President, represented by the organization’s Health cluster anchor, Alh. Musa Maigari further said that the possibility of defeating the menace of Malaria is possible when organizations and other well-meaning individuals in the state contribute their quota toward the fight against the scourge.

INFOMEDIA reports that Kano LEADS, themed; (#DaRUWANA), has been at the forefront in complementing government efforts on all matters of importance to Kano and Kanawa, including access to a good healthcare system.

On his part, the ward head of Dausayi, Mal. Uba Dausayi thanked Kano LEADS on behalf of the Dausayi community and assured them that the items would be used for their intended purposes.
