President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Nigerians to change their mindset about the country to drive national progress. Speaking in Lagos during a visit from a National Assembly delegation for Eid-el-Kabir celebrations, Tinubu emphasized the need for a shift in value systems to overcome the country’s challenges.

The President decried acts of sabotage, such as the removal of electric cables and rail tracks, highlighting the importance of productivity and economic contribution. He acknowledged the economic hardships but reaffirmed his commitment to Nigeria, stressing the necessity of eliminating banditry and terrorism to boost agricultural productivity and improve infrastructure.

Tinubu praised the National Assembly for their support, which has facilitated significant developments. He urged a collective effort to survive the economic hardships, focusing on good governance and national unity to ensure the country’s prosperity.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who led the delegation, commended Tinubu’s leadership and promised legislative support to improve the nation’s ease of doing business and overall development.
