The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has said it would soon establish a network centre in Kano.

The Director-General of NTA Yakubu Ibn-Mohammed, made the disclosure when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at Kano Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja, on Sunday.

A statement issued by Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to Mr Ganduje, said “all preparations are now on top gear to open a network centre in Kano.”

He said with the establishment of a network centre, reports from Kano, that are meant for the national network, would go directly to the headquarters without any stopover.

This, according to the DG, would open a wider window for the audience to have more understanding of the developmental work taking place in the state.

He also disclosed that NTA is being viewed everywhere in the world “as we are on GOtv, Startimes and others. We are viewed in Europe and other parts of the world”.
