INFOMEDIA – The Nigerian Council of Ulama has summons an emergency meeting to decide either to shut down mosques in Kano or otherwise, as part of measures to prevent the spread of deadly COVID-19.

The Chairman of the Council in Kano, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalid confirmed this to news men on Tuesday in Kano.

He said the Pandemic CORONAVIRUS is real and true, noting that despite no confirmed case in Kano, there is need to take serious measures to prevent the spread in the state due to the population and cosmopolitan nature.
