On sunday 13th oct, 2019 daily trust broke the story of the 9 kids kidnapped and sold in Anambra.
It’s of great importance to know that this issue of kidnapping is all over the country and not in a single region. The west, east, south and north are all facing this problem.
In every society there are good and bad people, who do not want that society to move forward and are causing serious damage to that community.
So Its unfair to malign generally that the whole community for the action of a single person. Which this is one of the problem we are facing in this country (negative label).
Let us all know that the issues of Islamatizing or christianizing these victims should not be our major concern. What we should focus should be on how are we going to eliminate these evil doers in our beloved country.
You and I have a significant role to play in curbing this evil act of kidnapping.
We shouldn’t only rely on our government alone to eradicate it.

However, it’s the responsibility of the government to protect their subjects and also take an effective measures where there is any faulty or security threat. Government are really trying and we appreciate but they need to put more effort in tackling insecurity in the states.
But, there is no way they can effectively restore peace and harmony in this country without our help.
We are the citizens, we know the bad ones among us. So we should help them In identifying the bad eggs and also reporting anything suspicious.
Furthermore, parents should always watch the movement of their children and also pray strongly for God to protect them all. They should know that they will give account on anything that God has given them.
Most of these kidnapped victims are aged between 2 and 10 . So how do u expect a child of 2year old to protect himself from been kidnapped?. God will only protect those who protect themselves.
In addition, parent should always take their children to and fro from school themselves and they shouldn’t give any rider ( tricycle, bus) their child to take him to school. Because there was a report in Kaduna; a tricyclist sold three children he was asked to take them to school. We must be security conscious.
To wrap up, my dear fellow Nigerians we most stop all these ethno_religious hatred for the betterment of our country. It’s the right time for us to call a spade a spade and love one another.
