The Senior Special Assistant to Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has said that he ignored entreaties to lure him into Politics by rejecting slots for Deputy Governorship, Commissioner and House of Representatives position respectively because he prefers to be at the background and remain true to his Public Ralations practice.

Mr Sule who is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Ralations (NIPR) stated this during a briefing yesterday with the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalist at the Image Merchants Promotion (IMPR), PR Nigeria Centre for Public Relations and Investigative Journalism, Kano.

Mr. Sule who was appointed Chairman of the Board of the centre noted that the world is moving towards strategic communication and the centre is out to promote that all stakeholders in the field such as Journalists and Public Relations practitioners can utilize the centre in synergizing and unanimously take Communication to the “next level.”

He called for a “symbiotic” relationship between the Centre and the Correspondent Chapel.

Earlier in his own remarks, the Managing Director and Editor in Chief of the Centre Alhaji Yusha’u Shua’ aib who is a multiple award winning PR Practitioner stated that the main purpose of the briefing was to introduce the Chairman and Directors of the Board and also do a briefing on what the Centre is meant for.

He noted that PR Nigeria Centre has remained the only firm in Africa to have consistently won awards in Public Relations for the past 14years including awards in crisis Communication and Management.

and Editors as Directors and Editorial Board
members.

The Company Secretary/Legal Adviser, Mr.
Yunusa Abdulsalam made the announcement in
a statement.

The company which publishes PRNigeria and Economic Confidential magazine appointed a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Mallam Sule Yau Sule as Chairman of the Board of Directors and award-winning crisis Communicator, Yushau A. Shuaib as Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief.

Also appointed Directors are a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Mallam Yusuf Alli and Chairman Zone D of Broadcasting Organization
of Nigeria (BON), Alhaji Ismail Sani.

The Managing Editor of the Economic Confidential
Ewache Ajefu is also appointed into the board as a director.

The board has also appointed a former Defence Editor with Thisday Newspapers, Senator Iroegbu as Editor of PRNigeria and an ABU
Mass Comunications graduate, Sani Ibrahim Paki as Head of PRNigeria Centre Kano.

An accounting graduate of Baze University Abuja, Saad Yushau Shuaib is Business
