Since when the issue of coronavirus broke out in Nigeria, it has raked up virtually the attention of Nigerians as its news dominated Nigeria’s media space. Though most of our acumen writers and thinkers in Nigeria have wrote different wondrous of their views so far about the coronavirus right from its base in China prior to her turn up in Nigeria.

Hence, they almost have voice out their thoughts towards the issue of coronavirus where some believed of her existence and some went question her existence in Nigeria, whilst some agreed of it’s existence and came out with way out which will help to get rid of it by design the ways that will help to stem the spread of the virus and how to continue with our activities in this trying time without allowing our economic to be cripple by disease, the person who holds this was Dr Ahmed Adamu. Therefore I will not go one-on-one mention what they have articulated.

But the point I want predicated here is how our leaders most especially states governors are punching above their weight with regard to coronavirus. I am not saying that the manner in which they’re handling this global pandemic i.e coronavirus they are not trying and I will not say that they have my encomiums on how they are tirelessly working to curtail the widespread of the apocalypse diseases which is ravaging the world talk less of Nigeria as we were seeing how it set the beacons of world powerful economic countries such as China, America, and Italy etc back.

Notwithstanding, what makes me sad is that how our governors behave as knuckleheads when they realized that they can inflate figures just in lieu of what they could get from federal government as donation or palliative measure to fight against the spread coronavirus. That’s why they shun and jettison most of their primary assignment in their state to engrossed on the issue which will yield a fruitful outcomes for them, as they are seeing how every state with myriad of cases are receiving billions of naira to curb the spread of the virus.

It behoves me to say so by reading from different part of the country how some patients in isolation centres are saying how they are been used by government to decoy people and federal government about the coronavirus. I also read how patients of coronavirus sabotage and demonstrates how they are badly treated and coping with the lack of essential services in the isolation centers. If that was happening in the isolation centre itself how on Earth would you think that they could fairly distribute a palliative measure for the poor who are solely depending on their earnings to cater their needs? Thus, if you are thinking so you should better have a rethink.

Many people in the country have disagree with the coronavirus because of how they are rubs off on by social media how the issue is always changing style by our governors.

Meanwhile, in katsina state I really appreciated how our governor sought out the help of the security agencies in abolishing the insecurities challenges the state was facing. In Katsina state bandits has killed much more people than how coronavirus is killing Nigerians in its entirety as our governor said and he was very right.

I am not among those who are doubting the existence of coronavirus but I am among those who are creating awareness, motivating people on how to fight and stay safe without being infected by this respiratory illness i.e coronavirus.

But how our governors are placing high premium on the coronavirus while we have a paranoid which becomes as our Achilles heel in our area it’s what will worry one. People are losing hope about the government for their negligence to protect them and their property. In my area, Kasina state the armed bandits came twice in a week don’t say they came at the midnight no, they came at 11pm and did what they did like abducting and went away with sheep and cows and also kidnapped some people and went scot-free. And our leaders are silence because it’s not the business that will entice federal government to provide all what they need to loot.

We seek Allah’s intervention to put an end to this pandemic.
