Saraki, Dogara meet INEC chairman, Mahmud Yakubu
NEWS DIGEST REPORT THAT Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara will on Wednesday afternoon meet with the National Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof Mahmud Yakubu over the budget for the 2019 general elections.

The meeting is about the consideration and approval of the N242 billion elections budget proposed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting was billed for Tuesday but had to be postponed to Wednesday due to the siege laid on the National Assembly.
Saraki announced during a world press conference in Abuja on Wednesday that the meeting would hold today.
Other leaders of the National Assembly such as Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Deputy Speaker Yussuf Suleimon Lasun and other principal officers are expected to attend the meeting.
