Tell the Gerontocracts to Let the Youths Pick Up the Challenge

Although, I’m pessimist about our (Youth) success through revolutionary journey because the nature of political culture we have at this very hazy moment it won’t guarantee us chance to risk our lives for majority of the youths can’t summon the courage to embrace and happily romance the death openly, despite knowing they are the strong bridge upon which an everlasting society is built upon. but I do believe, the future of workable and progressive Nigeria lies behind the countless effective effort of the present over zealous Youths who have the vision and mission for better Nigeria. Because only them knows the disease and the remedies.
Well, as Olusegun Obasango being one of the most capacitated person and nationalist per excellence in Nigeria who also happened to be three times president under both military Junta and civilian regime in the history of this gigantic country, possessed the priceless gut and audacity to lament and speak the naked truth about his beloved home while celebrating the infamous ” InternationalYouthDay ” by advising youths with a single gingering phrase which says ” Send old generation out of power “, so how can we turn deaf ears to his colorful and wisdomic advises and pertube signal, inspite of us knowing he himself is among the culprits of the mess that Nigeria is goingthrogh this time while other stern critics are even harshly insulting his personality by pointing and accusing finger to his sinful soul by saying ” You lack the moral values to say that ” . Yet he still have the power to say his mind regarding how his country would be saved against future catastrophe.
Since early 60s the group of Old people known as ( Gerontocrats ) are perpetually thriving within the power circle in this country and yet inspite of their haggling and unfruitful gestures through the years of mismanagement, bad governance, nepotism, mediocrity, incompetence and above all the deadly beast to which we famously known as corruption within the ambit of power, still they wishes to be there perpetually and keep exhibiting their shenanigans and sadly they failed to dig a single door to which it will enable youth of little ages to have an access to the power circle both political and administrative until late 19s they gave chance to few brainwashed folks with corrupt mind whom they fetched their leadership experience and style from the gutter sides of the old devilish crocks.
Furthermore, as a matter of fact, all the gone days has been a decades of retrogressive and backwardness in this country of ours, Sadly Nigerians have been sailing through, all the numbers of years we spent anticipating the colorful and fruitful country we wished and yearned to live in our dreams, today all things appeared to be null and unrealistic. However its natural law that each and every blessed generation is annexed with it certain problems which appears to be stumbling block to the societal development and to which also their plights is obvious to all but no one can fit to settle them except those that fully and actively lived in the time.
In that regard, I once described youth in my previous article by saying ” Honestly speaking, If I’m in a better position to describe Youths, i will definitely say, Youths are those folks who are wandering amidst of their shiny ages, thinking and pondering over the problems of their society and striving hard toward searching the remedy to those bedeviling obstacles. meaning no matter how younger you are if you think and act in contrary to that of the above attributes, I wouldn’t consider you as youth but a liability and burden to the real youths “.
So, looking at the above picture i dedcribed ” Youth ” with, then we can fathom that our contemporary youths have been scammed and duped with a treacherous prominent Hausa slogan which was designated and emanated by some men of greater personalities which we popularly known and succumb to as ” Duk abunda Babba ya hango, yaro bazai iya hango wa ba “. This adage is unfit at this particular matter of politics but when other social, ethical and etiquette matters arise it can be applicable and judiciously considered for there the game of decency and sanity is played unlike the jury of political arena.

Evidently, It has been vindictive to all sensible people that the old folks are too weak to deliver the gargantuan task in the realm of politics in this technolonigical Era of 21st century. The mind of the olden days people is too feeble and undecipherable to dealt with our inexplicable modern days obstacles because of the nature of their analogue mindset, poor cognitive sense and lack of modern thinking capacity they possessed its incompatible to tally with that of nowadays socio-political And economic matters and solve them diligently .
Concomitantly, inspite of their ( Gerontocrats ) inability to do the needful by achieving the better Nigeria, the subscribed to the cunning philosophy where by they are always coming up with verities of ideas which will serve as a deterring measure against us from rising voceferiously to approach their nuisances and evil plans to our country. Such tricky plans include the long popular phrase which is ” Yara Manyan Gobe ” meaning Boys are the leaders of tomorrow, and we are yet to see that over hyped tomorrow realistically or its me alone that realized this ” Tomorrow ” is just a Utopian and fantasy one and also they just recently came up with a modernized trick and gimmick wrapped in the deceptive attire of ” #NotTooYoungToRule ” yet we figured this out as trick and destructive weapon to our dreams.
However, its indeed a above a fairy tale or any other fictional plays to simply explore the genesis of our mess as a society with multiple ethno-religious differences, for it needs the massive inclusion of fresh people with fresh mind in to the ephemeral power circle to dedicate their time and put more dedicational effort towards exploring the mess bedeviling Nigeria as big country with divergent problems both overt and covert vices. Their thought is blurred with the burden of long ages and past experience but that of today’s zealous youth is up to date and its at it peak of functioning positively unlike theirs. Yet the kakistocrats among them failed to understand this fact selfishly.
Perhaps, as those who have experienced a lots in the past and went through entangled abysmal hardships, they are bound to have a say and possess a hint to which if they help with the little of the experiences and knowledge they have, they can help in achieving the great marvelous task of reforming and fixing the problems which such fantastic gesture will surely mark the end of our problems as a society. Meanwhile, we can doubt that, surely they got the guiding knowledge and that’s all they have as an instrument which we can collect and mingle it with our modern tactical moves and experience to emancipate this country from the sinking ship .
Verily, We do have little time to set our hands and experience upon the governing machinery of our country. to arrange and rearrange the modus operandi and modules to which the past giants and crocks have been utilizing in the quest for seeking an everlasting solution to our bedeviling obstacles as a country. However, despite seeing the time is running against us, we still have to realize our full potentialities before diving in to such scary matter because by doing so we are gambling with our future and that of our grandkids which if we fails to secure the country from the mess it is, then we have no guts to stay before the up coming generation to tells them what they should do since we failed them at the first place as how some our wicked souls did to us at their shiny times of leadership and politics.
Nothwithstanding, Its high time for the wise youth to call the attention of old power mongers to notify them that their time of trial have spanned and elapsed without achieving anything tangible and progressive to the country. So they should pave us ( Youth ) a way to be in their positions and try the game with full of hope, hard wok, commitment, dedication and perseverance and above all to let the prayer and determination guide the rest and by Allah’s willing we will goin to achieve the unimaginable achievement within few years of our inclusion in to the governance and fair politics territory. Nevertheless we are saying that not because of selfishness rather extremely tired of their sluggish moves which yielded nothing positive over years.
Finally, until we wake up from the deadly slumber, then we will refrain from wallowing in the deep shallow thoughts of hallucinations. And The early we realized our problems and wake up to search for their remedy, the better we will shield ourselves from falling in to the traps of our wrongdoings in the future.
