Sadi Garba Said (Thirdman) and Rabi Isyaka Rabiu (Rabia) has been officialy declared winner of the just concluded 2019/2020 Students Union Government (SUG) general election as President and Vice President respectively, by Umar Ibrahim SK, Chairman Bayero University Kano Independent Electoral Commission BUKIECO.
According to Umar SK “Sadi Garba and Rabi Isyaka Rabiu having satisfied the requirement of the law and scored the highiest votes of the total valid votes of the poll are hereby declared winner and returned elected as President and Vice President of the Students Union Government for the 2019/200 academic session”.

INFOMEDIA gathered that Thirdman polled Faculty of Education the total votes of 3495 to defeats his closest opponent, Sadiq Adamu Bawa (El-Sadiq) who scored the total votes of 1854. While Rabi Isyaka Rabiu (Rabia) polled Faculty of Communication the total number of 3036, defeating her closest oppontent, Zainab Abdulmajeed Ibikoluwa who scored the total number of 2514 votes.
Other winners inludes; Mahmud Balarabe Yazid, Secretary General, Tijjani Musa, Asistant Secretary General, Inuwa Ibrahim Musa, P.R.O, Abdulrahman Abdullahi, Social Director, Jimoh Ahmad Yakeen, Welfare Director, Magaji Kabiru Gulu, Treasurer, Abdullahi Salisu, Financial Secretary, Kisma, Food Director, Gote, Sales Director and Abdulahi Ibrahim (1Miller) as Sport Director.
