Rabi Isyaka Rabiu one of the front runner vying for the position of Vice President at Students Union Government, Bayero University Kano, from Department of Information and Media Studies has continued to enyoy a massive support and endorsement by students, teachers and the entire University Community ahead of Thursday general election.
Rabiu Isyaka Rabiu has been described as a nice person of good moral standard and possessed all the epitome of excellence in good human relation not only to students of Information and Media Studies but to the entire Faculty of Communication.
The top among her reason for contesting the post of the Vice President at SUG level is to help resolve all the problems students were experiencing in Bayero University which include but not limited to; Water Scarcity, Improving Health Care Facilites for Students, Hostel Allocation among others.
Responding to her absentism from Vice Presidential debate organized by BUK FM.
she responded that she did not in anyway overlook the arrangements of the BUK Radio station and the aspirants talk show.

She said it was a difficult decision for her to make amongst similar issues that were equally commanding attention. In her statement, she pointed that she understood the station might have put a lot into consideration in coming up with the program time as she appreciated their rationale but 10:00am on a Monday according to her, is undoubtably a central period of academic works for most students to whom the program was targeted.
She said and I quote “ there were similar pressing issues that I even had to risk missing a presentation and a test in one of my courses. However, I couldn’t help but attend a meeting on a students centered Discussion which was arranged long before I received the invitation for the Radio talk. “
She Calls on the University community to disregard any attempt to abuse anybody’s mind other wise.
She further extended her appreciations to all her supporters and enjoins them to keep the passion for unionism on. She however expresses her optimism in the Thursday 19th election.
Meanwhile INFOMEDIA gathered that Bayero University Kano Independent Electoral Commission (BUKIECO) demonstrates readines for Thursday 2019/2020 general election of the Students Union Government representatives, as all the election materials will be distributed to the various polling units in the campuses as early as 8am and the casting of votes will commence by 10am.
